If you wish to return your order or a product from your order, fill the return form that was sent to you together with your shipment and pack it together with the product you want to return in a parcel. You can use the same bag we used to send your order. Place the return address card over your package and take the parcel to the nearest Posti or Matkahuolto office.

If for any reason the return address card was lost or not originally included in the order, you can return the product to us free of charge with the following information:

Write in the return form which article and size you wish to exchange and what size you want to exchange it to. We will send to you the new article and soon as your returned parcel is received in our warehouse and processed. Normally, it takes 2 to 3 days for the parcel to arrive to us.

All the shipments have a tracking number which allows you to track your orders. You will find this tracking number in the order confirmation e-mail that is sent to you when the parcel is ready to be dispatched.

If for any reason, you haven’t received this code, or any confirmation e-mail, please contact us by e-mail at

If you received a different size from what was in your confirmation order, we will exchange it for the correct size. To return the wrong size to us, you can proceed the same way as in a normal exchange situation. Fill out the return from with the information that you have received the wrong size and send it to back to us.

We will send to you the correct article as soon as we receive your parcel in our warehouse. Normally it takes 2 to 3 days for the parcels to arrive to us.

Send your order number and the correct information to as soon as possible and we will correct the information in the order. Please remember to edit this information also in your account, in case you are a registered customer. You can edit your information here.

It is very important that your phone number is correct so that the parcels get to you.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve a product. However, you can join the waitlist on the product page. Choose the size you want and “Join the Watchlist”. We will send you an e-mail as soon as that product is available again in that size.

The fastest shipment option we have is Postipaketti. Every working day we ship parcels and they are mainly available for pick up the next working day.

If you order on a Friday evening, we will process and dispatch the order on Monday, which will probably be available for pick-up on Tuesday or Wednesday.

If you would like to cancel your order, please let us know as soon as possible by email to or by calling +35850352480 (Monday to Friday between 9.00-15.00). Cancellation is only possible if your order has not been dispatched. If we have already sent your order, you will need to receive the order and return it.

As a registered user, you can access all your orders with a single click. You can easily update your contact information, and we also periodically reward our loyal customers with nice surprises!

If you have ordered a product from a discount campaign, you will also receive a replacement product for the same price. Please note, that we exchange products of different sizes for the same product – not different products. So, if you want to change your product after ordering, you need to place a new order and pay the current price in the online store.

All of our products have a free 14-day return and exchange policy, including for orders shipped overseas. This not include fabrics, which are cut to order (bespoke).

When you order you can select “Send order to another address” and enter a shipping address other than your home address. This is convenient if you want to place an order on behalf of someone or deliver the gift items directly to the recipient’s address.

Postal and Matkahuolto will hold the parcels for 7 days, after which the shipment will be returned to us. Make sure you retrieve the package before that. It is also important to make sure the phone number you provided at checkout is correct, in order for you to get your arrival notification.

You can leave a product review of a purchased product on the product page. It doesn’t take long to do a product review, but it helps many others choose the right size and product for them.


Every product has a care label inside. Information on the care instructions can be found on our online store, under the heading “Care Instructions”. We have also collected information and tips for product maintenance and care on our Care Guide page.

If you find that your product is defective, please send us a photo of the product defect and a brief explanation via email to or fill out the contact form here.

In some cases, we will ask you to send the product back for review. You’ll receive instructions via email to ship your product for free. When the product arrives, we will primarily replace the original product with a new one. If no suitable replacement product is found, we will refund the product claimed.

Note that our products may shrink to a maximum of 8% in the first wash, but the actual shrinkage is generally closer to 5%.

If you wish to be a model in our photoshoots, you can apply sending a few pictures, your size and a brief introduction of yourself by email to We are always looking for models of all sizes and looks, women, men and children. Feel free to apply if you have dreamed of being a model for a Nordic sustainable clothing brand.

All our photo shoots are organized at our Pirkkala office. Models should be able to travel to the shooting site on their own. We reward our model with a gift card for our online store. We do not cover the potential travel costs.

All e-commerce orders are shipped from our warehouse in Pirkkala. Together with the warehouse we also have joint office and showroom premises with Black Moda Oy.

Aarre clothes are manufactured by our own sewing company Black Moda Portugal, Lda in northern Portugal and by trusted partners in the area. Our hosiery products come from Italy.

Portugal is an EU country that is not classified a risk country. In Portugal, working life is regulated by law and law enforcement is enforced by the authorities. Employees in our own sewing industry receive regular training and are granted statutory holidays and free medical care. Working time is also subject to Portuguese law on working time that the moment is 40 hours a week, with 1 to 2 hours of extra working time.
