"My stories, your art" - Laura Annala
Laura Annala and Aarrelabel's wonderful collaboration collection was launched on Friday, January 27, 2023. The collection bearing the motto "My stories, your art" is the first collaboration collection between Aartee and Laura Annala. Check out the entire collection here .
The initial impetus for the creation of the collaboration collection happened by chance. Aartee had been a fan of Laura Annala's art for a long time, and when Aartee's designer Laura Silva came across a magazine story where the person interviewed for the story was wearing Aarrelabel clothing and the background of the picture was a painting by Laura Annala, Laura had to contact Annala about a collaborative collection.
The collection combines artist Laura Annala's colorful and bold paintings with nice treasures. Laura deals with the diversity of life in her art. His art exudes a wonderful use of colors, joy and courage to be exactly as he is. There is always a multidimensional story behind every painting. The unique art collection combines art with comfort, and with the collaboration collection we want to bring art closer and easily accessible to everyone.
With the collaboration collection, we want to bring art closer to the rivers, but also to communicate a more responsible textile production, where the handprint of the clothing makers is highlighted. The treasures of the collection are made in our own sewing mill in northern Portugal, and each product in the collection is made in a limited batch of 50 pieces. Each treasure is individually numbered and on the hanging tag of the product you will find the signature of the seamstress who sewed the treasure in question.
The prints of the women's and children's clothing collection include Laura Annala's works Holy bananas, Be your own muse, Grass is greener and Oh crab! Annala's works are repeated in bright and joyful colors in the collection. The bright pink base Holy bananas designs include Alex pants , Tara t-shirt , Oriel dress , Amelie dress , Joy hat for adults and Blair shirt and Ami leggings for children. The abstract Grass is greener pattern includes Alex pants , Tara t-shirt , Joy hat and scrunchie for adults, and Blair t-shirt and Ami leggings for children. Celene top , Alison skirt , Margo dress , Oriel dress and Joy hat are again available for adults in the light-based Be your own muse designs. Oh crab! painting decorates the white-based Queen t-shirt .
The products are only available in Aarre's own online store www.aarrelabel.com and at Aarre Studio in Tampere's Kehräsaari. The first 30 buyers of a collaboration collection product from Aarre Studio will receive a Be your own muse art print by Laura Annala.
